2023-24 Club Tryout Schedule and Information

How We Run Tryouts

We realize tryouts can be a very stressful time for players and parents. Come have fun! Get to know some of the Hive staff.  If you don't tryout you will never know. 

Selection process will be based on

  • Volleyball technique/skill level. 

  • Athletic ability 

  • Attitude

  • Teamwork

After tryouts

Once players are placed on teams,  Hive Volleyball will determine what tier best fits that team. You can find more info about the different Hive Tiers under the "clubprograms" tab  on our site. 
 

Everyone will be notified after tryouts if they have been selected for a team or not.  After team selections have been made, a mandatory parent meeting will take place in November to discuss club details and uniform sizing. This is mandatory

If you make a team you will be contacted, and receive an email with a link to complete the season registration ($500 deposit required).

We do ask for a timely commitment (you will have 48 hours after you have been invited to a team to secure your spot).

As we receive decisions from players we will contact those on the 
Alternate list as soon as possible to invite them to be placed on a team. 

It is players and parents responsibility to sign up for the correct age group. Email info@utahhivevolleyball.com with any questions about age requirements.
